Task 3 What kind of media institution might distribute our media product and why?

For my film I would try and use Warp to produce it I would do this because they have a very good reputation for making quality British films that deal with serious subject matter an example of this This Is England. My film is about teenage killers in a Britsh high school who have gone off the rails and decide for a multitude of reasons to kill their class mates. Our film looks at the sociological reasons behind this insident. These include the killers being victims of bullying, childhood neglect and disfuctional family life.
Warp make low budget films but have a reputation for high quality they have also got consistantly got films into the cinema and continue to promote them onto DVD to produce after sales. I feel they would be a good company to produce our film because our film is low budget, it deals with serious issues and would align itself to the ethos of Warp.
